On November 18th CBC Edmonton sent a crew to our school to interview Mr. Tymofichuk about his Prime Minister's Award. The Prime Minister's award is the highest level of award a teacher in Canada can receive, and our very own Mr. Tymofichuk won the STEM category award! Any time you ask Mr. T about this award, he will tell you that it is about more than just him, rather it is a story about the entire school and the projects he and the kids are working on.

A video crew and a radio crew came out to see what has been happening at New Myrnam School, and they spent the entire day interviewing the students and staff about everything we do as a school. We as students are all so thankful for Mr. Tymofichuk’s positive encouragement and motivation to be able to achieve anything we can dream!
